I had the immense pleasure of working with Tim Yarkowsky of Twilight Star Media in March 2014, while applying and auditioning for university Music programs. Tim helped me record my university entrance audition tape for Mount Allison University in Sackville, New Brunswick.
In April 2014, I was offered acceptance into Mount Allison University’s Bachelor of Music Program with a scholarship from the music department. I attribute part of my success in this endeavor to Tim’s skills and extensive knowledge in the field of audio engineering. Tim was supportive of my needs throughout the recording process, and often took time to explain what he was doing with the audio tracks and why. He was pleasant to work with, completing tasks efficiently, competently, and always with a smile on his face.
The final product of my session with Tim was a professional quality recording that fully displayed my musical potential and abilities. The Victory Band - Edmonton
We had the pleasure of working with Twilight Star Media Ltd. in February 2013. Tim helped our worship team redo the sound and set us up for recording our live sessions. With his help we were able to completely change the sound we had as well he helped the church we worship at with their sound for a live webcast that they broadcast every Friday.
He taught us many things about how to set up our board, how to optimize our stage sound and how to make adjustments to the sound without affecting our recording levels.
He completed all tasks in a confident and professional manner which included signal flow review, venue sound check and equipment assessment, microphone placement recommendations, board mix assessment and recommendations.
After his initial visit he followed up with us on how things were going and provided support for a couple of issues.
Working with Tim was a pleasure in itself and our worship team would recommend his services and plan to utilize him more in the future. We had a minimal budget to work with to complete this sound assessment and found the services affordable and worth every dollar.
